how do I subscribe to new newsgroups?

In Outlook Express, press Ctrl-W, and select whichever group you want from
the list that appears.

how do I subscribe to new newsgroups?

Hi Jonathan,
Are there any newsgroups other than those which appear after pressing Ctrl +
W?
For example I am a highschool teacher.
Where can I find if there are any newsgroups related to say maths teachers?
And how do I subscribe to them?

Hi Ramesh,

That depends on the news server that you are subscribed to. I notice from
the headers to your message that you have subscribed directly to
msnews.microsoft.com, which (naturally enough) only carries the Microsoft
groups.

Your own Internet Service provider probably has a news server. You might

If that doesn't work, send them an email or phone their tech support line
and ask.
