Bookmark as Calculation of other bookmarks

Using various bookmarks in a table, I have one bookmark ("Total") that is a
calculated bookmark = to the sum of several other bookmarks.  "Total" does
not correctly total the sum of the several bookmarks.  It totals the default
values of the bookmarks, but when non-default values are inserted, "Total"
does not "re-total".  Can someone either make sense of this for me or direct
me to a tutorial on bookmarks?

Another fly in the ointment may be that my document is protected (so the
user can tab between fields).

TIA

Hi zSplash,

In the properties dialog for the fields that contribute to Total, check
the "Calculate on exit" box

Please post any response to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may
also be following the thread.

Hope this helps,

Thanks, Doug.

I have checked that box, and it still doesn't "total".  Any other ideas?

TIA

Hi zsplash,

If you want to email me a copy of your document I will take a look at it.
If it's protected with a password, you will need to either let me know what
the password is, or protect it without a password before you send it.

Please post any response to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may
also be following the thread.

Hope this helps,
