I have a database with a form/subform which show all parts charged out
against a work order. When the form is opened, several calculations are
performed to display various costs, parts used etc. Parts can be charged
against a work order from this form or imported from a text file. When the
parts are entered from the keyboard, the calculations take maybe 5 seconds
to complete. After the text file is imported, the calculations take maybe 2
minutes. It doesn't matter if the form is open when the file is imported or
not. The only way to get the calculations to go quickly after this import
is  to exit completely out of Access and restart. There are no errors
reported on the import and everything looks ok, but obviously it is not.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
