I have a rather complex tab form with 6 tabs and 6 sub forms. This
problem has vexed me for several weeks and seemed to appear out of
nowhere. My solution is to make sure that the me.filteron property is
false.  Any filters that my form required are now set by changing the
recordsource of the form and/or subform.  I can't explain why this
works, but it solved the problem.
