 speed up visio file loading

Hi

I found that it is very slow to load one of my visio files
for the first time when I turn on my computer, but a lot
quicker afterwards loading the same file. Does anybody
know the reason? When I said loading a visio file, I
simply go to the right directory and doubleclick the .vsd
file. It is not just that particular file but all other
visio files behave similarly too. How to speed up the
visio file loading first time I open a computer? Thanks

Andrew

 speed up visio file loading
its due to memory, more specifically cache.  windows has to read the
file from the hardrive initially which is slow but then pushes it into
RAM...which is fast.  everytime u open that file up, it will retrieve
it from RAM instead of ur harddrive.
