DELETED tables cause error on table Connect?

DELETED tables cause error on table Connect?

Hi, i have an Access 2000 fe/be database.
Anyway, i just switched my code over for reconnecting to the back-end
tables.

It now Deletes the existing link, then re-connects and ignores errors for
insufficient rights.

Anyway, it usually works, but sometimes i get an error because it can't find
some DELETED tables that are still{*filter*} around in the hidden table
acMySysObjects.

Is there a way to purge these orphans and is it normal to have deleted
tables kept in this system table?

Regards
