 Can not exit design mode

My problem, and definitive my customer, is that a lot of
Word documents comes up with the error messsage "Can't
exit design mode because Control 'control type' can not be
created. "

Inside the Template we have used a lot of image controls
which are used to show thumbnail's of large .JPG files.
After the document has been opened and saved several
times, a user can suddenly get this error message, and the
document has to be rebuild, cause VBA code will not excute
in "design mode", and there are a lot more VBA code which
should have been run.
Believe me, I have tried everything which is explained in
MSDN.

..please any suggestion

 Can not exit design mode
Hi Per,

Where exactly is the code that you are using? Is it in a special template or did you keep it in the normal.dot?
I've searched the Knowledge Base with this error and found one hit:

WD2000: Error Message: "Can't Exit Design Mode..." After You Add a Control
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q212559

Hope this helps,
regards,
Astrid
