 HTMLBody in the Outlook 2002/XP

Hi, everybody

Strange thing.
I set HTMLBody property for outgoing messages but recipients get it as
Plain Text.
It does not matter how do I either programmaticaly using Outlook
object model or manualy using Outlook message editor.
When I open a message in Sent Box I see HTML format.
On recipient's side I see Plain Text. All HTML tags is elliminated.

One exception. If I do it manualy and insert some picture message goes
fine.

I heve never seen this problem using O2000.

Thank you,
Oleg Trizna.

Did you check the format setting for the individual recipient before sending
the message?

 HTMLBody in the Outlook 2002/XP
Hi everyone

I am experiencing the same problem calling Outlook 2000
programmatically from Access97 using an Outlook
Application object with the HTMLBody property. If I send
the email to myself, on receipt it displays correctly as a
web page, but when received by Outlook98 or Outlook
Express 5.5 the HTML has all been stripped out. Yet an
HTML email created by clicking the buttons in Outlook2000
is correctly received by everyone.

Is there a property I am failing to set in my software?

Thanks
Alistair Randall

In Outlook Express, you can get the entire message detail. I'd take a look
and see if the HTML part is really being included but has a bad header line
or if it's missing. That doesn't provide a fix, but might yield a clue.

What kind of mail account are you sending through?
