AutoFilter and range selecting

 AutoFilter and range selecting

I have a sheet of data, and I want it so that every other line is shaded
grey so it is easier to read.  But if I use an autofilter, the lines of
course do not stay that way.  What do I do to go through only lines that are
displayed?  This way I can can select every second line and set the
background color differently if I change a filter.

Also, is there a way to react to an auto-filter change, so that I don't need
to run this macro myself?

Hi James,

this sounds very much to me like you're working in Excel? This group is
for WORD VBA questions, and while someone might drop you an answer here,
you're more likely to get one in excel.programming :-)
