Front end in Access 2000 / backend in access 97

what types of conficts would I expect to see in this senario?  The front
would be a runtime 2000 mde file and the backend would be a 97 mdb...

This is comming up because I am moving to 2000 an a client will not be
upgrading for some time

Why exactly would you move before your client? You should
keep the app in 97 until they want the upgrade.

I have done it and been ok, aside from the annoying
re-registration that goes on whenever you run first one then
the other.
