Macro to remove spaces

 Macro to remove spaces

I am creating templates in Word XP using WP documents that have been saved
in ASCII DOS text format.  There are many extra spaces in the text.  I would
like to create a macro that removes more than two spaces in a row.  I would
like help with the macro language to accomplish this replace function.

TIA,

Ricki Miles

 Macro to remove spaces
You don't need a macro.

In the Edit Replace dialog, put ^w in the Find Text box and a single space
in the Replace With box, and then click Replace All.
