Excel Workbook takes too long to open in Excel 2000
If the workbook has macros, it will take longer to open if
macro virus checking is turned on. This will be worse if
you're opening it across a network.
If it doesnt have macros, you could try removing
excess/unnecessary formatting from the workbook to reduce
the overall size of it, which may speed it up a little.
