Saving date/time stamp of text file

Is there a way to save the date/time stamp of a text file being imported
into Access to a table? I have a text file that is updated twice then
imported into an Access7.0 dB. I need to save the date/time stamp of the
file to a table to make sure the file has been updated prior to importing it
into Access. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Before importing it in, use the code provided in this article to get the
