The data controls (active X objects) that are required for DAPs are only
included in Office 2000. In addition they are NOT redistributeable, so they
(DAPs) are totally useless for the internet and many intranets. So you have
two options either 1.) Install the A2K run time on all machines to support
DAPs or 2.) Don't use DAPs and rather create your pages using standard ASP
calling into the db.
(IMHO DAPS = desultory and pathetic solution)
