Dear group,

I'm having big difficulties using the INET - object (msinet.ocx)
I have written an application that has to upload some files to a ftp -
server.
When I run my application on an Office Developer Edition machine, it works
normal.
Now when I try to run the application on a regular machine (Office 2000
Premium), the msinet object doesn't work.
I get error

429 "ActiveX component cannot create object."
****

In design view, it is a blank object and I get the following error when I
want to replace it with a new one

****
THE OLE SERVER ISN'T REGISTERED
To register the OLE server, reinstall it.
****
This is rather normal because it isn't the dev edition.

I have used the Package & Deployment Wizard to distribute this app.
Shouldn't it work on all machines?

Please give me an answer / solution.
I would be most greatfull.

Are you distributing the control as well? Sounds like you're not, as the
target machine doesn't seem to have the runtime license for it.
