 Problem when unprotecting a document with form field text fields

Hi:

When I unprotect a document that has a form field with
it's Maximum Length set to unlimited, it resents it to the
default of 255. How can I programatically access this
property to re-set it to unlimited?

I can't recall having ever seen this. Which version of Word
are you working with?
