This is a know bug with SendKeys, see here

As stated in the aforementioned link, there are few occasions when
SendKeys cannot be replaced by something more robust. I personally avoid
SendKeys like the plague.

Only those people who have ever used Sendkeys. It's been a bug of
Microsoft's for ages, and shows no indication that it's ever going to
get fixed.

Most developers avoid using SendKeys entirely. There is almost always
a different way to accomplish the desired result; I wouldn't count on
Microsoft ever solving this one.
