How to install CDO after Outlook has already been installed

Hi,

I tried to use "MAPI.Session" object from VBA in
Outlook 2000 and it gives me an error "User defined type
not defined". I believe that CDO is not installed on my
system when Outlook was installed.

Without uninstalling outlook and re-installing it with
CDO again, is there a way to install CDO and get my macros
to work ? If yes, where can I get an installer for CDO
1.2.1 ?

P.S : I have outlook 2000 professional.

Thank you very much for your time, tips,

Best Regards,
ANJAN. B

See ItemsCB sample from http://microeye.com/resources/code.htm . It installs CDO
programatically if it is not yet installed.

Run Outlook/Office setup and choose the CDO component under Outlook. If you need a programmatic solution, Randy Byrne's Items Command Bar COM addin sample in the Resources section at http://www.microeye.com shows how to use Windows installer to make sure CDO is installed.
