Help, I had developed a set of macros in MicroSoft Excel
97 for my company.  When we converted to Office 2000, the
macros seemed cross-over fine (with limited problems).  

As time has gone on, more and more users have been
receiving the "Library not found" error and I read about
references and Excel 2000 not needing them.  

Two questions:

1.  Can I just go into the Microsoft Excel 2000, open my
worksheet and erase the references?

2.  Does Excel 2000 need references to begin with?
