 Insert Autotext - returned range depends on formatting?

Hi all,

in my code, I am using a line like

  atentry.Insert Where := myrange, RichText := True

to insert a specific autotext. However, the range of myrange after the
call seems to depend on whether the autotext has formatting stored in
it or not: if the autotext has no formatting, the end of myrange is
(in my view, correctly) at the end of the inserted text, and if
there's formatting, the end of the range stays at where it was before
the call (or something similar...???) Could somebody explain this
behaviour and how to handle with it, so the result is predictable?

Thank you for your help in advance.
