 Extracting Word Images

I am an experienced VB and VC++, but am new to dealing with the Word
objects. It appears that word has a {*filter*} feature that renders images poorly
when printing either to a screen resolution printer, or copying to the
clipboard. What I want to be able to do is scan the shapes collection, and
save the images down in their original size, and either their original
format, or a DIB. I will then resize the images myself, and re-insert them
into the document fully rendered to the appropriate size. I just don't seem
to be able to find the appropriate properties or methods to perform this
task. Does anyone have any ideas for me?

TIA

Mick
