 print directly to win2k printer share?

We upgraded a PC that hosts a network printer from Win95 to Win2K - now some
Access code that prints directly to the printer fails.

It fails ("could not open file") on this Access 2000 VB statement:

    Open "\\computer\printer" For Output As #f

Is this fixable?  Or should we just down-grade the printer PC back to Win95?
