Blinking cursor in Word won't stop!
I'm trying to use the Equation Editor in Word 2000 and Word 2002 on
Windows 2000. Every time I use it, the cursor immediately starts
blinking non-stop, alternating between the hour glass and the pointer.
The process I use is:
Insert->Object->Create New->Microsoft Equation 3.0
I'm unable to use the cursor with any amount of precision since it's
almost constantly an hourglass that blinks really quickly. I've tried
changing the Keyboard speed in the Control Panel, reinstalling both
versions of Word, adding "CursorClickRate" in WIN.INI, and nothing has
helped. In fact, the more I try to use Word after the cursor problem
starts, the worser the situation, eventually leading to WINWORD.exe
problems, Word shutting down, and eventually my PC freezes.
Does anyone has any suggestions? Thanks!!!
