Updating a PST file via network login and auto-importing into Outlook 2000

We currently have a PST file that is copied over to our users machines at
login (when updated). Sometimes this PST file will not just be overwritten,
and you have to manually edit the services and insert the PST again via a
File/Open and set it up as an address book...

Is there a way to systematically remove the old address book/PST file, open
the new one, then reset the original settings?

Any pointers on where to start?

You'd have to use Extended MAPI for this, since it's the only API that deals
with Outlook profiles. Some of the automatic profile tools might be able to
help. See http://www.slipstick.com/exs/olroam.htm#tools
