
Direct Animation Reference MISSING - PLease Help
It's possible that the dll has other dependencies which are not present on
your machine. If that's the case, then you won't be able to get the dll to
work correctly. The correct way of dealing with such situations is to find
out which app installed the DirectX dll and run that aapp's setup on this
machine instead of simply trying to copy the required file over (which may
cause more damage).
On the other hand, if you're not using any functionality from the server in
your Access app, you can simply unselect it from the References menu. Use
of common OCXs for "eye candy" like stuff is generally not recommended
because of the References problem, as you've experienced.
